Pat Miller Certified Trainer Requirements
PMCT1 - Must have successfully completed at least three academies, two of which must be Level 1 Basic Training and Behavior and Level 2 Behavior Modification
PMCT2 - Must have successfully completed at least four academies, three of which must be Level 1 Basic Training and Behavior, Level 2 Behavior Modification, and Level 3 Advanced Training and Behavior Study. In addition, beginning January of 2012, all PMCT2s must actively participate in the PMCT2/3 yahoogroups list; submit at least one approved behavior case analysis per year; and 30 CEUs every 3 years. PPaws will accept CCPDT-approved CEUs, and you may also submit other events for approval.
PMCT3 - Must have successfully completed five academies, including all requirements for PMCT2, and attended a 1-week Private Intern Program with Pat Miller or, alternatively, complete the Level 1 Peaceable Paws Apprenticeship.
Effective August 1, 2011, Peaceable Paws is no longer accepting other programs as acceptable alternatives for our Level 1 program, nor are we offering the option to "test out" of Level 1.
