Shapsing: 1.) A process in which a selected behavior is obtained by differentially reinforcing successive approximations of it; 2.) Breaking down the training objective or target into more manageable and easily learned parts

Are you looking for an opportunity to spend several days in the country having fun with your dog in a relaxed, supportive environment? Want to help your dog learn how to offer behaviors more freely? Sharpen your shaping skills? Make new positive dog training friends?

If so, then Shaping Camp is for you!

This three-day camp created and taught by Certified Pet Dog Trainer/author Pat Miller is designed for the novice-to-experienced shaper with plenty of built-in flexibility and opportunity for you to pursue your own training goals.

Release your creativity: practice basic and free shaping exercises; learn tricks, targeting, good manners behaviors, retrieve, shave points off obedience and Rally scores. Shape your dog to take a bow; crawl; go to his place; put his toys away; bring you a tissue; say his prayers; play jump rope, climb a tree; the sky’s the limit!

Peaceable Paws’ 80-acre campus is located just south of Hagerstown, Maryland – 90 minutes west of Baltimore and Washington DC. Please feel free to call or e-mail if you have questions. We look forward to playing with you and your dog!
